One of Anchorage’s favorite Thanksgiving Day traditions is back downtown this year.

Skinny Raven’s annual Turkey Trot will take place Thursday morning — and after being moved to Midtown last year, the race returns to downtown Anchorage.

The start line will be at 8th Avenue and G Street by the ConocoPhillips building, and runners will once again finish indoors at the Dena’ina Center.

That Turkey Trot steps off at 10:30 Thanksgiving morning.
