2 National Guardsmen shot near White House, suspect in custody and 'severely wounded'

Two members of the West Virginia National Guard were shot in Washington, DC, today, according to the state’s governor. They engaged in gunfire with the suspected shooter prior to being shot, according to two law enforcement sources. The sources said the suspect was detained and transported away from the scene on a stretcher. A source familiar with the investigation says that there are no other victims of Wednesday's shooting beyond the two National Guard officers and the suspect. #CNN #News
