Montana State's Brent Vigen has been named the 2025 Big Sky Conference football coach of the year, the league announced Wednesday .

It's the second straight season Vigen has won the award outright, making him the first Bobcat to win back-to-back conference coach of the year honors since Jim Sweeney in 1966 and 1967. Vigen also shared it with then-Sacramento State coach Troy Taylor in 2022.

"He deserves it," MSU quarterback Justin Lamson said Wednesday. "We follow him. You see how hard guys play for him. He's great man, and he's earned all the success he has."
