GLASFORD ( 25News Now ) - A student at Illini Bluffs High School in Glasford is accused of threatening to shoot another student. The situation never did turn violent, but some parents said they weren’t told enough.
Both the school district and law enforcement said that there is no actual danger here, just concerning statements, and the situation is under control.
According to the Peoria County Sheriff’s office, a 14-year-old student made a threat to shoot a 16-year-old student on Monday. They sent a detective to investigate, and no weapons were found at the suspect’s house.
The district superintendent, Dimitri Almasi, sent out an email to parents at 4:52 p.m. Monday.
