Christy Bingham Gaines was born in Paducah, Kentucky, on October 14, 1972, and passed away on November 25, 2025, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

Christy attended college to train as an oral surgery assistant and went on to work as a dental assistant for 13 years, spending many of those years alongside Dr. Patrick Ward. She took great pride in her work and the relationships she built throughout her career.

Christy had a deep love for the outdoors. She enjoyed caring for her flowers and tending to her pool, and she took great pride in keeping the “perfect yard.” She loved her animals, especially chickens, horses, and dogs.
