CARRINGTON, N.D. — In Kadyn Mehring's first year at the helm of the Carrington High School volleyball program, she ended up with two all-staters.
The North Dakota High School Coaches Association (NDHSCA) announced its Division A Volleyball All-State Team on Nov. 25.
Aniston Hoornaert and Harper Kollman of Carrington's volleyball program were both named to the Second-Team, All-State roster. Hoornaert was rostered as a setter for the Cardinals while Kollman played as an outside.
Hoornaert recorded a whopping 1,130 assists in just 37 matches. From the back line she was credited with 44 aces and made 311 digs. The sophomore also proved versatile at the net accumulating 70 kills and 36 blocks.
