The Seattle Seahawks announced a flurry of roster moves ahead of their Week 13 match-up against the Minnesota Vikings. Some of these moves were already known as their news broke earlier in the week (such as the waiving of cornerback Derion Kendrick, and the additions of safety Quandre Diggs to the practice squad, and running back Cam Akers to the 53-man roster.)
However, the moves that were not known include the promotions of cornerback Shaquill Griffin and linebacker Patrick O’Connell to the 53-man roster. To make room for those two (plus Akers), linebacker Chazz Surratt was placed on injured reserve. Seattle already had two open roster spots from earlier moves made.
