Arsenal maintained their 100 per cent record in this season’s Champions League by beating Bayern Munich .

The Gunners ran out 3-1 winners over the German champions thanks to goals from Jurrien Timber, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli.

Teenager Lennart Karl had levelled the game for Bayern before half-time, but Arsenal struck twice after the break to seal the win.

Mikel Arteta’s side are now top of the Champions League table after five games and are the only team to have won all their fixtures so far.
