The last decade has seen some great TV shows come to an end, but unfortunately, not all of them continued that greatness in their final season. Some of the best TV shows of all time ended between 2015 and 2025, and though many had final seasons that lived up to the overall quality of the show, others were a huge disappointment.

There are many reasons why the final season of a show can be disappointing. Some are shorter and thus feel rushed, others make questionable decisions with their characters and their stories, others are nonsensical, and many leave plot holes and questions that won’t be answered anymore. While these bad seasons don’t kill the show, they were definitely disappointing .
