NBC Universal, Inc. A Campbell’s executive is on leave after he allegedly made racist remarks about the company’s soups. A former employee says he recorded the executive during an hour-long rant and played some of that audio for the NBC station in Detroit. Erica Erikson has the story.

Campbell's has fired the executive accused of making racist comments and mocking its products and customers, the company announced on Wednesday.

The termination follows a lawsuit filed in Michigan by former employee Robert Garza against Campbell’s, the company's then-vice president of information technology Martin Bally and another manager.
