GALVESTON, TX — Ray Molina, affectionately known as "Cocktail Ray," passed away peacefully at the age of 93 in a private elderly care assisted living home in Galveston on November 17, 2025. Born in Mercedes, Texas, Ray became a proud Galvestonian at an early age, embracing the vibrant spirit of the community he would come to love.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sarah McVey Molina; father, Espirio Molina; and siblings, Oscar Molina, Janie Molina Flores, Rachel Molina Clark, and Sarah Molina Hart. Ray's legacy continues through his loving partner, Nadia Linic, stepdaughter Gaby Blalock and her son Peyton, stepson Tapy Canak (Heather), and their son, Giovanni.
