DETROIT — Minnesota native Frank Ragnow is coming out of retirement.
The 29-year-old center, who announced his retirement back in June, was reinstated from the retirement list on Wednesday and will rejoin the Detroit Lions for the final stretch of the season.
The Lions have yet to make an official announcement, but the team posted a file photo on social media of Ragnow running out of the tunnel at Ford Field.
The Victoria, Minnesota native played at Chanhassen High School and was ranked the No. 3 prospect out of Minnesota by ESPN, 247Sports and Rivals. He was also one of two 2014 Army All-American Bowl nominees from Minnesota and was invited to the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl following his senior season.
