Home sales activity in three of Houston’s most distinctive neighborhoods—The Heights, River Oaks and Montrose—revealed a nuanced portrait of demand, pricing and market velocity in October.

Number of homes sold

The number of homes sold in October was up in three of five local ZIP codes, specifically in the Montrose, Washington Avenue and Upper Kirby areas, with the Upper Kirby region seeing the largest increase at 35.71%.

However, ZIP codes 77008 and 77019 saw a decline in the number of homes sold
