LAS VEGAS — South Carolina women's basketball recovered from a slow start against Duke to win its first game at the Players Era Festival .

The No. 2 Gamecocks (7-0) won 83-66 against the Blue Devils (3-4) on Nov. 26 at Michelob Ultra Arena. South Carolina will face No. 4 Texas in the championship game on Nov. 27 (8 p.m. ET, truTV). The Longhorns beat No. 3 UCLA 76-65 in the first game of the day Nov. 26.

Joyce Edwards and Madina Okot led South Carolina as a dominant frontcourt. Okot had 23 points on 11-for-18 shooting with 13 rebounds, four steals, two blocks and two assists. Edwards had 22 points on 9-for-18 shooting with six rebounds, six assists and three steals.
