GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Some households in northeast Wisconsin will see higher utility bills over the next two years.
State regulators approved rate hikes for Alliant Energy this month.
According to the Public Service Commission, electric bills are expected to rise by more than $9 per month in 2026 and $17 per month in 2027.
The company says it’s upgrading aging infrastructure and building new power sources.
Alliant serves the southern parts of our region, including Fond du Lac, Green Lake, and Sheboygan counties.
