FOWLER, Mich. (WILX) - This week a U.S. News and World Report ranked Waldron Elementary-Middle School in Fowler as number four in the state of Michigan.
To celebrate, the school held a pep rally for students.
One teacher says they’re honored to be among the top five schools in Michigan.
“We have amazing students, supportive parents, great staff, and our administration is always there to help us whenever we need it,” said second grade teacher Brenda Epkey.
“We are very blessed to have everyone come out and see all the wonderful things we’re up to.”
The top three middle schools in Michigan were Dearborn Stem, Avondale Gifted and Talented Education, and the Middle School Math-Technology Center in Warren.
