COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Marquay Collins, a 24-year-old social media personality known to millions as “marquaythegoat,” has died, Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said Wednesday.

Officials say emergency responders were called after Collins had difficulty breathing. When medics arrived, Collins was found unconscious and unresponsive, Bryan said. The coroner did not immediately provide additional details, and the cause of death is under investigation.

Sources familiar with the situation told local news outlets that Collins had complained of head and neck pain in the days before his death. Those reports have not been independently confirmed by authorities.
