Two people were arrested following an over-the-counter medications theft investigation in Vacaville, the police department said on Wednesday.

Police said they recently received a call from a supermarket manager reporting that nearly $2,500 in over-the-counter medications were stolen from the store. The manager provided the police department with clear surveillance footage and a photo of the suspect’s vehicle, a gray Mazda SUV, according to authorities.

Police reported the suspect was identified as 42-year-old Jamie Charles Maurice Thomas of Suisun City. Officials said the police department learned Thomas was staying at Motel 6 in a nearby city.
