The Spokane County Medical Examiner has identified the body as that of 36-year-old Christopher Roulet. The cause and manner of Roulet's death are still under investigation.

UPDATE Nov. 16 at 3:50 p.m.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane fire and police crews recovered a body found in the Spokane River under the T.J. Meenach Bridge on Sunday.

According to a Spokane police officer at the scene, the body was recovered around 2 p.m. The Spokane Fire Department said crews were initially called for a water rescue to recover a body, according to the officer, who said the body had been in the water for some time.

It is unknown at this time what caused the death or when it occurred.
