WAUKESHA, Wis. (WKOW) — A petition to revoke Morgan Geyser's release has been sealed and a judge will soon decide if she should return to a group home or be placed in institutionalized care.
The petition was filed by the Department of Corrections. It comes after authorities say Geyser cut off her GPS monitoring bracelet and escaped from a group home in Madison. Geyser was placed at the group home after being granted her release from a state mental health facility.
Waukesha County District Attorney Lesli Boese has consistently opposed Geyser's release.
