Whether the 6-foot, 220-pound Northwestern Lehigh High School senior tight end/linebacker Shane Hulmes is crushing opponent’s quarterbacks, hauling in passes over the middle or bowling over potential tacklers on his way to the end zone, he reminds Tigers coach Josh Snyder of an old-school, true football player.

“For me, when I think of traditionally a football player, I think of Shane Hulmes,” Snyder said. “A little bit throwback, tough, rugged, can play multiple positions, the captain of the defense.
