DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Decatur police are investigating a shots fired call in Downtown Decatur Wednesday evening.

The Decatur Police Department confirmed to WAND News that they were called to investigate a shots fired call, but did not have more information at this time.

A WAND News photographer on the scene captured a heavy police presence in the area located just north of downtown, near Walker Funeral Home.

The area was lined with several police cars with crime scene tape in some spots.
