LOS ANGELES - Lizzo is raising concerns about what she calls a growing disappearance of plus-size women from fashion and entertainment, a shift she links to the rapid popularity of weight-loss drugs like Ozempic.
In a new Substack essay , the Grammy winner urged the public to “undo” what she describes as the cultural effects of the “Ozempic boom.”
The 37-year-old singer wrote that extended clothing sizes are becoming harder to find online, and that plus-size models are being booked less often.
