FRASER – They were handing out goals Wednesday at Fraser’s Big Boy Arena like charity organizations and churches hand out turkeys to the underprivileged the week before Thanksgiving.

Macomb Dakota-Chippewa Valley United and Utica Fraser United combined for 13 goals during Wednesday’s Macomb Area Conference Red Division contest. But it was Chippewa Valley United junior forward Nolan Young who stole the last turkey.

Young cashed in a close-range goal off a pass from Owen McMurray with just 41.8 seconds left in the third period to complete CVU’s 7-6 comeback bid and win their conference opener.
