PLUMAS COUNTY, Calif. (KOLO) - A robbery suspect wanted out of Butte County was arrested and booked into the Plumas County Jail on Wednesday, Nov. 26, according to an agency news release.
Twenty-year-old Payton Wiles of Oroville was taken into custody without incident, Plumas County Deputy Sheriff Chandler Peay said.
Chico Police Department contacted the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office about a robbery suspect wanted out of Butte County.
Sheriff’s detectives then conducted surveillance in the area of Lawrence Street in Quincy.
A vehicle believed to be associated with the suspect was observed leaving the location, Peay said.
Deputies followed a vehicle associated with the suspect leaving the scene. It went to East Quincy and pulled over near Cedar Street.
