Thinking out loud ... and there’s always something about Thanksgiving to be thankful for, even if it’s just not being a turkey.

I’m thankful that even though Lil’ Rhody has long been considered a southern suburb of big-city Boston, Rhode Island has its own thing. Sure, we share in the success and failure of the pro teams but college basketball is king here; it has been for the better part of the last century.

It is unique, it is often fun to watch, some days more than others and these days it very much is Rhode Island’s pro sport — especially with the dollar signs dancing over all our heads.
