A serious crash was reported at the intersection of Routes 4 and 208 in Paramus on Wednesday evening, Nov. 26, prompting major road closures, authorities said.

Paramus police issued an alert saying the Saddle River Road ramp from Route 4 westbound to Route 4 eastbound was closed until further notice, and that traffic from Route 208 to Route 4 east will be diverted until further notice.

A large police presence was at the scene as of 10:30 p.m.
