TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The City of Tucson is advising residents of a shift in services in observance of Thanksgiving, meaning changes to affect everything from office hours to trash collection.

All City of Tucson offices, except for emergency services, will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27.

Trash and recycling pickups scheduled for Thursday will occur on Friday, and those usually on Friday will be moved to Saturday.

The City of Tucson said the Los Reales Sustainability Campus and its landfill services will also be closed on Thanksgiving.

Additionally, Tucson City Court, along with the City Prosecutor’s Office and City Public Defender’s Office, will be closed to the public on both Thursday and Friday.
