RIO VISTA, Calif. —
Cannabis use is climbing among older adults, with a recent study indicating increased marijuana consumption later in life.
The study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that marijuana use among Americans ages 65 and older increased by 46% between 2021 and 2023.
KCRA 3 joined members of a retirement community in Rio Vista as the group celebrated "420 Day," and shared how smoking cannabis helps them feel youthful and manage the aches and pains associated with aging.
