One of Nottingham's most handsome pubs is on the up — literally. The owners of The Castle Pub & Kitchen, opposite the historic gatehouse of Nottingham Castle, have transformed the first floor which for the last five years has been closed off to the public.

Last used for storage and as a production kitchen, it has been returned to its former glory as a function room with timeless elegance, but the plans go beyond just using it for parties or business meetings.
