FAIRMONT — Two individuals have been arrested and a third suspect remains at large as the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office continues an investigation involving a sexual assault case and an alleged property deed forgery scheme.
Investigators have been searching for Nicolas Parias Carranza, 45, of Fairmont, since July 2025 in connection with a sexual assault investigation. Carranza is wanted on three counts of third-degree exploitation of a minor and three counts of indecent liberties with a child. Investigators believe Carranza may have fled to Mexico.
