ROCHESTER — It’s been a family affair across three generations for Old Colony football .
With his father, Brandon , as the head coach and his grandfather, Paul, as an assistant, Old Colony senior lineman Dylan Mendez wrapped up his four-year career with the Cougars on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
“Honestly, I loved every minute of it,” said Dylan moments after Old Colony’s 51-14 loss to Tri-County in the annual Cougars Cup. “Definitely didn’t have the season we wanted this year, but I couldn’t imagine playing anywhere else. I love it here. This is really a family. Having my grandfather and my dad in the program just brings everything together.”
