Officers arrested a pair accused of stealing more than $1,700 worth of jackets in Vallejo last week, the police department said.

Officers responded to a business in the 100 block of Plaza Drive at around 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 20 after two suspects were reported stealing multiple jackets and leaving the store, according to authorities.

Police said a witness in the parking lot told officers that the suspects drove away in a dark Dodge Charger. Authorities reported the witness also provided officers with a license plate number and a picture of the vehicle.

Later that afternoon, officers located the Dodge Charger traveling on Sonoma Boulevard near Florida Street, according to authorities. Police added the officers conducted a felony traffic stop on the 200 block of Marin Street and detained the
