Phillies predicted to deal with worst-case scenario situation with Kyle Schwarber

About a month into MLB free agency, Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber has yet to sign with a new team. That doesn't come as much of a surprise, considering many view him as the second-best hitter on the market, but it'll be interesting to see what Schwarber eventually decides to do.

Considering he's in a position to get paid as well as he ever has throughout his career, this could take a bit longer than some are expecting.

Obviously, the fit with the Phillies seems to be obvious, but if Dave Dombrowski and the rest of the front office and ownership aren't willing to pay him the money he's looking for, he'll likely be on a new team in 2026.
