SEATAC, Wash. — A U.S. military veteran and his wife were reunited at Seattle- Tacoma International Airport this week with the small family member they rescued from a war-torn region in the Middle East, bringing their "princess" home to the United States just hours before Thanksgiving.
Palmer Jones and his wife Delaney had been apart from their kitten, Imchi, for one week — a stretch they said felt like an eternity. When they learned she had arrived at the airport, Jones reacted with surprise: “She’s here? Uh oh, Ahh!” Moments later, he confirmed with a smile, “She’s here.”
