A man accused of using candy to lure a child into his home before committing sexual assault has been arrested in Mississippi.
Vicksburg Police responded to the 300 block of Bayou Blvd. on Monday after the alleged victim’s mother reported that her daughter had been fondled by an adult male. After investigating, law enforcement identified the suspect of interest as Antonia Parker. The suspect was found later that day and handcuffed.
Parker is reported to have possessed illegal drugs at the time of his arrest. He is charged with molestation and possession of methamphetamine. Parker appeared in court on Tuesday and was given a $450,000 bond.
He was transported to Warren County Jail, where he resides pending a grand jury’s ruling.
