Deer season, for me, is about spending time outdoors with family and friends, walking the ancient peaks of Quebec, or sitting in my tree stand with nature all around. Oh, and of course, playing with trail cameras.
Deer gang fun
Most deer hunters these days are lone wolves, tree stand or ground blind hunters who prefer to sit and watch as opposed to active deer drives, or chases, as we call them. For me, the thrill of coming together as a team in an unforgiving and rugged deer woods like ours truly is the ultimate reward. We often sit briefly at the end of the day, but most of the season we are actively moving and planning our team approach. We don’t take a deer every year and often end up pushing some to stand hunters; but the whitetails we do harvest are hard-earned. Tracking 20-25,000
