Peter Kay has admitted to wearing a 'mask' as he candidly discussed his difficulties with nerves both on and off stage.

The comedian, 52, appeared on Scott Mills' BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show this morning, where he admitted he was nervous to meet the radio DJ as he discussed his anxieties. Despite being a hugely-popular stand-up comedian, Peter admitted showbiz and chatting on the radio 'isn't his comfort zone' when quizzed by Scott, 51, about his nerves.
