Peter Kay retreated from the spotlight in 2017 citing 'unforseen family circumstances' and cancelled his long-awaited stand up tour. But the Bolton-born comedian made an ultra rare TV appearance yesterday (Wednesday 26 November) to share some news with his fans.
The 52-year-old has announced that all of the profits from his new 2026 stand-up tour will go to cancer charities. Twelve charities are set to benefit from proceeds of his Better Late Than Never tour which he is finishing with new dates in several arenas.
He will perform across the UK in Glasgow, Newcastle, Nottingham, Dublin, Birmingham, Belfast, Liverpool, Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester and London. And he said he hopes his fans will support the shows, reports the Mirror .
