Ryan Williams wasn’t a member of the Alabama football team the last time it visited Auburn. However, the Crimson Tide wide receiver was in attendance.
That game was a legendary evening, as the Tide fell behind early before Isaiah Bond caught a Jalen Milroe pass in the end zone to win the game on 4th-and-31 . Speaking to reporters on Tuesday.
“I was there when Bond caught in the back corner of the end zone,” Williams said. “It was just crazy, the environment, the whole game. It was, man, Jordan-Hare, they bring a lot of energy.”
Williams was committed to Alabama at the time, but was still being recruited by Auburn. The Tigers wanted the Saraland product, who would end up decommitting from Alabama after Nick Saban retired.
