CENTENNIAL, Colo. — State Sen. Faith Winter was killed in a crash on Interstate 25 south of Denver Wednesday night.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said the five-vehicle crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-25 near Dry Creek Road in Centennial Wednesday night.

At least three other people were injured in the crash, according to the sheriff's office.
