Quinte Conservation is hosting two public meetings in early December to gather input on best practices to prevent flooding on local creek systems in Belleville.

Separate meetings will hear public comments on floodplain mapping for both Bell Creek in the southeastern fringe of Belleville as well as Potters Creek along the southwestern boundary of the city.

The Bell Creek public information centre meeting is set for December 2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church at 516 Victoria Ave, Belleville.

The Potters Creek public information meeting is set for December 3 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Quinte Conservation office at 2061 Old Hwy#2, Belleville.
