For the 27 th year in a row, the CPKC Holiday Train is rolling its way into Quinte on Saturday to entertain residents and help collect donations for local food banks.

Several stops are planned along the old Canadian Pacific freight-train railway line on Saturday as the holiday celebrations moves westerly through Ontario.

The train will pass through Quinte with stops in Belleville as well as Quinte West.

Each event is free, said organizers, with CPKC encouraging every attendee to make a monetary or heart-healthy food donation to ease hunger needs in their community.

Local food banks will be accepting donations at each stop to help ensure those in need can access adequate food this holiday season.
