The president made a speech yesterday (November 26) to condemn the brutal attack on two National Guard troops near the White House, branding the “ambush-style” attack “monstrous”. Now Fox stars Kevin Corke and Paul Mauro have opened up on the emotional speech, as the suspect was named as an Afghan national.

Corke said: “I thought his comments were powerful, I thought he really nailed the mood of the nation after this frustrating and frankly disgusting attack that happened today.” While Mauro chimed in: “It didn’t look like the president was going to speak and I think he felt compelled to.
