If you're heading to the Thanksgiving Day parade early Thursday morning, be sure to bundle up.
Thanksgiving is Thursday, Nov. 27, and while temperatures are expected to be above normal on the holiday, El Pasoans will wake up to chilly conditions, according to Anthony Brown, lead meteorologist with the National Weather Service in El Paso.
Thousands will head to Downtown El Paso for the 89th Annual Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Sun Bowl Parade, which begins at 10 a.m., when it will still be cold outside.
"In downtown, lows will be in the 40s, so you definitely want to take your jacket," Brown said.
In other areas, like West El Paso and Southern New Mexico, lows could be in the upper 30s, but as the day continues, temperatures will reach the 60s to near 70s.
