Thanksgiving Day will be cold and blustery across New Jersey with wind chills in the 30s followed by even stronger winds on Friday.
Forecasters are also tracking the chance for a winter storm early next week that could bring snow, rain and a wintry mix to parts of the state.
“There remains significant uncertainty with regard to the strength, track, and timing of this system,” the National Weather Service said early Thursday. “The greater potential
for impacts from any snowfall accumulations will be from near
the I-78 corridor and north, with rain more probable from the
I-95 corridor and southeast to the coast."
Gusty conditions are already underway Thursday with west winds of 15 to 20 mph and gusts of 25 to 35 mph expected through the day.
