FARGO — Nearly a half hour after the conclusion of practice Monday afternoon, Fargo Force assistant coach Carson Kosobud was still on the ice working.

Kosobud shoveled passes from the blue line to a player working on his one-timer in the right circle. The Moorhead native has been making the most in his first season of coaching.

“It’s been a definite change, but it’s been awesome and I’m loving it,” Kosobud said.

Kosobud traded in his sweater for a coat and tie on gamedays when it was announced in August that Kosobud was joining the Force coaching staff.

The former defenseman spent a majority of last season playing professionally for Strasbourg of the French Ice Hockey Federation. He tallied seven goals and six assists in 28 games.
