The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in gathering more evidence of a shooting near Ford Middle School in the Midland area.
Law enforcement is currently looking for two suspects — a man and a woman — believed to be armed, who allegedly shot a homeowner around 10 a.m. on 104th Street East, Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Carly Cappetto told KIRO Newsradio.
The homeowner and the suspects, who were in a car, reportedly got into a gunfight in the street. The homeowner sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
“We have multiple witnesses and people that live in the area reporting that multiple people were in the middle of the road actively firing at each other,” Cappetto said.
