HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies said a neighbor dispute escalated to a shooting, sending multiple people to the hospital and bullets flying in different directions.

On Thursday, at about 2 a.m., deputies said they were called to the 8000 block of Dodiewood Lane, near Highway 249 and Fallbrook Drive in northwest Harris County. When they arrived, they said they found three people hurt and bullet casings all over.

"We know that several guests arrived at one of the residences that led to a verbal altercation," HCSO Sgt. Freder Munoz explained. "I'm not quite certain what that originated from, but that led to the weapons disturbance."
