A pet nutritionist has highlighted that dog owners can significantly extend their pets' lives by simply feeding them the right food. On average, a dog will generally live between 10 to 13 years, although this varies significantly depending on the breed.

Sandra Martínez, an expert pet nutritionist, told La Vanguardia that a dog and a cat's nutrition is not only vital to their longevity, but also helps to prevent a range of issues such as digestive problems, arthritis, and allergies.
